I flew through my list in March. Turns out when you’re not allowed to leave the house, it doesn’t take as long to finish a book.
As tired as I am of looking at the same four walls all day, every day, I’m enjoying the opportunity to catch up (and add to) my TBR pile. I’ve discovered a few new authors who will make it onto upcoming lists, and reading is helping me escape back to a world that’s familiar and friendlier than this strange, grim new place in which we’re currently living. With no end in sight, I’m grateful to have the opportunity to slip away, even if it’s just for an hour. And even more grateful that the only thing I have to complain about is being stuck inside my house.
Read on for a list of books I’ve chosen to help get me through April!
Week 1: Verity by Colleen Hooper
Week 2: Poison in Paddington (Cassie Coburn Mysteries, Book 1) by Samantha Silver
Week 3: I’ll Be Your Blue Sky by Marisa de los Santos
Week 4: The Honeymooner (A Paradise Bay Romantic Comedy Book 1) by Melanie Summers
